. we have visibility down to a quarter mile. fairfield reporting, fog at times, napa down to a quarter mile as well as nova toe. your visibility could drop off suddenly as you make your morning drive. we're seeing the chilliest numbers over the north bay. with the chilly conditions and calm conditions, setting the stage for cold numbers, the possibility for fog over the north bay. upper 30s in napa. off to the east bay. we're looking at the fog spilling in the central valley. be prepared. a lot of fog reported in that area. ridge of high pressure will continue to stretch into the bay area at some point bringing us an offshore breeze. i will be tracking that for you. but wean now and then -- but between now and then, unseasonably colder weather into next weekend. 61 san francisco. 62 in oakland. low 60s, concord and, antioch, hayward down into the south bay. 63 san jose. 63 mountain view. low 60s palo alto as well as redwood city, the extended forecast, a little warming trend into the weekend. it's just going to be nice. mild weather will continue through about tuesday. back to you. >>>

in oakland 51. san francisco 53. mountain view 49. napa 47. we have a weather maker on the way. unlike the three that got you soaked over the past five days. this one is not as wet and it's being deflected just a bit to the north by a building area of high pressure. this high will be a player in the weather for the next seven days. it's going to bump the storm track up to the north. when rain moves through tomorrow it will be a glancing blow. the heavy rainfalls will stay away. you'll get showers. you'll get wet tomorrow into wednesday but not soaked. flooding is not a concern. rain on wednesday primarily but flooding is not a problem. oakland 62 tomorrow. santa clara 63. san jose 63. pleasant hill 62 and vallejo also 62 degrees. looking at your extended forecast calling for a lot of rainfall to move in. light to moderate rainfall tuesday and wednesday. then we dry out thursday through sunday looks mainly dry. and that's your cbs 5 forecast. >>> why kate middleton's morning sickness could be a sign that she's pregnant with twins. ,,,, bump, on kate middleton? ths magazine cover is fr .

. that seems to be the line right there. this could dip into marin or napa county later on today but it kind of stays there and then we have to wait for it to start moving south. the main core of the system is still the north. you watch out this developing later tonight. right there. 2:00 a.m. there could be a like of moderate rain and then by -- could be a line of moderate rain associated with that they rosa. the cloud cover and a little southeast breeze helping along. this is just a warm sector in advance of this. this is a much weaker system than anything we saw of the previous three. but it's still going to produce some rain. the heavier rain would be about santa rosa north. 1 to 2 inches could easily fall south of that. mostly cloudy, light rain to the north. 50s, 60s. too much cloud cover. some of that rain must keep temperatures in check. mild, kind of muggy. morning lane, into wednesday morning. clearing, pattern change. this will be the last system in the series. we go dry. light and morning fog will be a huge issue friday into saturday morning -- saturday morning. >>> authorities w
